Artist Speaker Series
Hello Artists!
On Tuesday, June 24th, we are commencing our Artist Speaker Series, a
succession of lectures given by established artists and art professionals
to aid in the artistic and entrepreneurial development of our
So-Hamiltonian Fellows and other emerging artists. We plan to host
these seminars every other Tuesday starting at 6:30pm. Due to
construction of the Hamiltonian Gallery, other galleries and art
institutions have graciously let Hamiltonian Artists borrow their spaces
for the series. Below is the schedule for the first couple of
lectures:

David Page, an award-winning sculptor, will be giving the talk,
"Making Useless Objects for a Crowded World: Inspiration,
Motivation and Studio Practice." Page has a MFA from the University of Maryland
and currently teaches at Towson
University and the
Corcoran College of Art and Design. This talk will be held at Project 4
Gallery located at 903 U
Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001.
Due to space limitations, other artists interested in attending this
lecture, please RSVP to jackie@hamiltoniangallery.com.
July 1st, 6:30pm:

and Visual Technology at George
Mason University,
