Hello!

On Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at 7:00pm, Mark Cameron Boyd will talk about his work currently on view at the Hamiltonian Gallery
.

A Hamiltonian Mentor Artist, Boyd is exhibiting work along with Hamiltonian Fellows Christian Benefiel and Leah Frankel.  Boyd will introduce the concepts behind his participatory art practice and use of text on panels that allow visitor interaction with chalk and dry erase marker.  Additionally, Boyd will discuss his Theory Notecards installation that initiates a new twist he calls "owner-specific" participation - only the "buyers of the blocks are authorized to decipher the bisected text."

Hamiltonian Artists would like to remind everyone that the last day we are accepting applications for the 2009 Hamiltonian Emerging Artists Fellowship Program is  this
Saturday, February 28, 2009.  Please drop off your application CD to the gallery, or your application must be postmarked by February 28, 2009.  The gallery will be open this Friday and Saturday, from 12 - 6pm.

Please refer to our website for information on the application packages.
