Hamiltonian Artists and Project 4 invite you to an evening of music, hors d'oeuvres and wine for a fundraiser for the So-Hamiltonian Fellowship Program on April 8th, 2009, with the music performed by the Formalist Quartet.

The Formalist Quartet is a string ensemble dedicated to the performance of adventurous and relevant repertoire, focusing on contemporary pieces as well as exploring a diverse spectrum of early baroque music.

Doors open at 7pm and tickets are $25. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling the gallery directly at 202.332.1116. Some tickets will be available the evening of the show but those interested are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance. Proceeds raised will help further the So-Hamiltonian Fellowship Program and aid the future endeavors of our fellows. We hope you can join us for the evening.

Hamiltonian Artists has successfully completed our first year of the fellowship program dedicated to emerging artists in Washington, DC. Housed in a sustainably designed exhibition space on U Street, NW, Hamiltonian Gallery is the first green gallery in Washington DC. As a part of a larger social entrepreneurship, the Hamiltonian project is an effort that aims to spur community revitalization with an emphasis on environmental responsibility and art. To date, the Hamiltonian project has exhibited five group shows and looks forward to continue in bringing cutting-edge art and creative artists to Washington, DC.
