Hamiltonian Artists and Project 4 invite you to an evening of music,
hors d'oeuvres and wine for a fundraiser for the So-Hamiltonian Fellowship
Program on April 8th, 2009, with the music performed by the Formalist
Quartet.
The Formalist Quartet is a string ensemble dedicated to the performance
of adventurous and relevant repertoire, focusing on contemporary pieces as
well as exploring a diverse spectrum of early baroque music.
Doors open at 7pm and tickets are $25. Tickets can be purchased in
advance by calling the gallery directly at 202.332.1116. Some tickets will
be available the evening of the show but those interested are encouraged to
purchase tickets in advance. Proceeds raised will help further the
So-Hamiltonian Fellowship Program and aid the future endeavors of our
fellows. We hope you can join us for the evening.
Hamiltonian Artists has successfully completed our first year of the
fellowship program dedicated to emerging artists in Washington, DC.
Housed in a sustainably designed exhibition space on U Street, NW, Hamiltonian Gallery is
the first green gallery in Washington
DC. As a part of a larger
social entrepreneurship, the Hamiltonian project is an effort that aims to
spur community revitalization with an emphasis on environmental
responsibility and art. To date, the Hamiltonian project has exhibited five
group shows and looks forward to continue in bringing cutting-edge art and
creative artists to Washington,
DC.
