HAMILTONIAN NEWS UPDATE No. 4
HAMILTONIAN ARTISTS would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming support that we got in our inaugural year. The application deadline for the first group of So-Hamiltonian Fellows was on January 15 and we are extremely pleased by the tremendous response from many highly qualified applicants. We have received more than 125 applications from the mid-Atlantic region, its neighboring areas such as New England and the Carolinas, and beyond. We are very thankful to our supporters who have helped us to spread the words about our program and continued to help us in bringing this program to fruition. To build upon this encouraging response from the art community, we are more committed than ever to do our best in making HAMILTONIAN ARTISTS a productive and nurturing environment for all innovative emerging artists in the coming years.

The distinguished panel of artists and art professionals from our External Review Panel will be meeting in the coming weeks to help us to select the 10 So-Hamiltonian Fellows + 5 alternates for our inaugural season in 2008/2009. It will be tremendously exciting for us to review all the highly qualified applicants. We are expecting to have our final selection by mid-February and we will notify the selected fellows by mail and email. In the meantime, please stay tune with our HAMILTONIAN NEWS UPDATE and our website for the latest progress. Good luck to all applicants.
The renovation of the future home for HAMILTONIAN ARTISTS and HAMILTONIAN GALLERY continues to make progress. Our new foundation is almost completed and we should start framing soon. Please check the Hamiltonian Blog for the latest update and pictures:
